ALOHA

FRIENDS!

Gentle Hive is a local 501(3)c non-profit organization dedicated to helping the commercial beekeeping industry find alternatives to chemicals used in hives and to help them be sustainable.  We do that by finding natural solutions to the pests and diseases plaguing them.

Our mission is to protect bees from extinction and return them to thriving by researching and promoting commercial friendly beekeeping techniques that are non-harmful to bees and their environments.

We are currently doing research on alternative methods to chemicals being used in the hives for commercial beekeeping. We are experimenting with methods such as structured water, compassionate re-queening, and no-kill bee sting apitherapy.

We hypothesis and know through small scale studies that making sure bees have access to clean, structured water mixed with non-chemical honey builds immunity & strength. Bees can come off of the use of chemicals without withdrawals and move forward thriving against the pests and diseases at a much lower cost than using chemicals.

With the help of grants and generous donors such as yourself, we are looking forward to doing our studies on a larger scale and bringing the information out to the world.  Donations are tax-deductible and very appreciated!
